Jewelers for Children will hold the 21st Annual Facets of Hope event on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Las Vegas during jewelry market week. The 2019 edition will mark a return to the Venetian Las Vegas, along with the move of the JCK Show to the Sands Expo Center. Judy Fisher, Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Reeds Jewelers and David Bonaparte, President and CEO of Jewelers of America, Inc. have agreed to serve as honorees.

MJSA Press book wins award for publishing excellence

The MJSA Press book, “A Jeweler’s Guide to Apprenticeships: How to Create Effective Programs”, has won a Silver Award in the technical book category of the 2018 Association Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards competition, which recognizes excellence in association publishing. Written by educator and award-winning jewelry artist Nanz Aalund, the book was published in 2017.

(NEW YORK) - The Jewelers for Children board of directors held elections at their semi-annual meeting in Las Vegas in June. Ten new directors were elected to the board and the current officers were re-elected to a second, one-year term. All terms will begin on October 1, 2018.
