LFS Consultants names Darren Fries Vice President, Director of Sales

AGTA announces 2019 AGTA Spectrum Awards™ winners

(DALLAS) - The American Gem Trade Association is pleased to announce the winners of the prestigious 2019 AGTA Spectrum Awards™. The competition was held in New York on August 3rd and 4th and is regarded as the world’s prominent colored gemstone and cultured pearl design competition. Stuller announces new Vice Presidents

IGI certified Lotus Temple Ring earns Guinness World Record

Laashikaa Jewels, a Mumbai based brand, earned a Guinness World Record for ‘the most number of diamonds set in one ring’ with their design creation, the Lotus Temple Ring. The ring, containing 7,777 natural diamonds, was certified by the global grading and certifying authority, IGI. The 21.39 carat ring from Laashikaa Jewels was graded VVS-VS in terms of clarity and E-F on the color scale. The exquisite piece of jewelry has round, brilliant diamonds studded on an 18 carat ring giving the jewelry an exceptional touch of luxury and grandeur.

WJA give $65,500 in 2019 Scholarships and Grants

Winners to be lauded at Awards for Excellence Fundraising Gala

(NEW YORK) - In advance of its Awards for Excellence Gala on July 29, which will raise funds for scholarships and grants, the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) announced that proceeds from 2019 fundraising resulted in awards totaling $65,500 in grants and scholarships to 49 women. The recipients are using the funds to underwrite education and advance their professional careers.
