Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Dexter of Elite Fine Jewelers

Dexter both

Meet Dexter, the Executive Sales-woof at Elite Fine Jewelers in Tempe, Arizona. Dexter, a Pit-Bull mix who self identifies as a cat, spends his days greeting customers, taking naps, overseeing jewelry repair, and being absolutely adorable. He even has his own kitten that he brings to work with him. Dexter was rescued on the streets of Phoenix by little kids during recess. He loves cats, kids and anything that can rub his belly. He has also completed therapy dog training. Dexter’s uncle, 16 year old Snickers, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, also is a valued employee at Elite Fine Jewelers.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Molly of Lowcountry Jewelers

Pets Molly both

This adorable, affectionate Black Labrador Retriever is Molly. Molly is 10 years old and works side by side with Ken Watts at Lowcountry Jewelers in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. She tends to be Ken’s shadow, following him around all day, but loves everyone - staff, customers and vendors too as you can see by this greeting she’s giving sales representative Lee Proctor.

OMG! Don’t you just want to snuggle up with these adorable little ladies? Isabelle and Olivia are Havanese pups that have recently celebrated their first birthday. They work one day a week at Adwar Casting Company with their human Keith Adwar. Keith loves his dogs but says they have trouble filing things especially under the letters “N” and “O”. Nevertheless they are great companions, excellent employee morale builders and they keep everyone happy.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Chuppie from Kelly Wade Jewelers

Pets Chuppie website

This fluffy bundle of joy is Chuppie. He is a Maltipoo, a cross between a Maltese and Poodle. Like his human Christine Tyng, Chuppie works in sales at Kelly Wade Jewelers in San Antonio, Texas. He’s pictured here helping customers pick out the perfect diamond ring. Looks like Christine has some tough competition for sales representative of the month.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Weiser who loves to visit Lang Jewelers

Pets Weiser both

This is Weiser the Golden Retriever. Every morning while his owner enjoys a cup of coffee outside of Starbucks, Weiser pops in to visit and get a treat at Lang Jewelers in Gainesville, Florida. He picks up his leash and literally walks himself into the store to see the Lang Jewelers staff. “It is the funniest thing and it has become something we look forward to each day!” says Tori Hegert of Langs. “Dogs are always allowed in our store and we have plenty of treats on hand for our customers’ furry companions to enjoy!”

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Draco of Ben Williams Jewelers

Pets Draco both

Say hello to Draco, the newest employee at El Paso, Texas-based Ben Williams Jewelers. Draco is a 2-year-old half Husky, half Boxer. He accompanies his human, jeweler/sales associate Francine, to work at Ben Williams Jewelers every day. Draco excels at customer service. He eagerly waits for customers to walk in and immediately brightens their days - it’s obvious on their faces. He is also a great salesman for the store’s recently added dog collection of rings and charms. With Draco around it’s easy to recognize dog loving customers based on their reaction to Draco. He adds the best energy to the store and keeps the staff smiling at the ways he keeps himself entertained throughout the day.
