Let us introduce to you two beautiful little girls, Sophie and Stella. These sweet pups go to work with their mom, Sandra Ondreas, at Ondreas Custom Jewelry in Port Lavaca, Texas. Sophie and Stella love to greet Ondreas’ customers every day. Sandra says it’s not unusual for customers to come in just to play with the friendly girls.

Here’s looking at you Caesar! Caesar, a Shih Tzu, is the greeter at Mark A. Young Jewelers in Oxford, Michigan. He works with his human Mark Young, owner of the store. Mark A. Young Jewelers is a dog friendly store. Whenever Caesar can’t make it to work another employee or two will step up and bring their dog. Furry Friends on the premises make the store more warm and welcoming. The store creates beautiful custom pieces for your loved ones - including your Furry Friends.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Sunshine from Mark’s Diamond Jewelry

Ain’t no Sunshine when she’s gone. Customers are always disappointed if they enter Mark’s Diamond Jewelry in Crossett, Arkansas and Sunshine is not there. Sunshine, the lovable Boxer of Vicki & Mark Trammell, is the official door greeter at Mark’s. Sometimes called Tator, Sunshine loves fries and chicken nuggets. She greets visitors with big kisses and enjoys hanging out in a chair in the front of the store. She inspires Mark and Vicki in their endeavor to create original custom pieces of jewelry. She has been known to nap on the job, usually beside Mark, while he works on the bench.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Buddy, our very first Feathered Friend, from Your Jeweler

Meet Buddy, our very first Feathered Friend on the Job. Buddy is an 18-year-old African Grey Parrot that works with his human Rob Bisching at Your Jeweler in Carterville, Illinois. Buddy greets customers with a “Hello” or “Good Morning” when they enter Your Jeweler. New customers are often left wondering, “Who said that?” Buddy likes grapes and peanuts and is not shy about asking for them. He has manners - after receiving his treats he responds with, “Thank you, that’s good.” When customers leave he may chime in with, “see you later.” Buddy has yet to pick up any jewelry terms, but African Grey Parrots can live up to 50 years so he has plenty of time to work on that.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Benji from Allure Jewelry by Greaton’s

Say hello to the adorable Benji! Benji is a three-year-old Australian Shepherd that works with his human Reggie at Allure Jewelry by Greaton’s in Stillwater, Minnesota. Benji loves saying hi to people  through the windows as they walk by the store and  brings so many new customers through the door, making him an integral member of the sales team. He enjoys getting love and attention from everyone who walks in, especially the small children. Benji started working at Greaton’s 3 years ago when he was only 7 1/2 weeks old.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Gabby who works at Jay Feder Jewelers

Introducing the fabulous Gabby! Gabby is a 4 pound Pomeranian that works at Jay Feder Jewelers in Boca Raton, Florida. She is a mascot, greeter and model extraordinaire. Here she is with some other models at Jay Feder Jewelers grand opening party sporting a $250,000 ruby and diamond necklace. Word is she worked the room and got more attention than the 2-legged models. Keep up the good work Gabby!

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Lily from Ross’s Fine Jewelers

Introducing Lily! Lily lives the hard life of a shop dog at Ross’s Fine Jewelers in Kilmarnock, Virginia. The not quite one-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) brings so much joy to the employees as well as customers, who often pop in just to see her. When she’s not being carried around by her human, store owner Jennifer, she can be found napping in her special play pen or someone’s lap, eating, playing fetch or helping her mom restring pearls.
