Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Popcorn from White & Ivory

Pets Popcorn

Introducing Popcorn!  The 6-year-old Teacup Maltipoo works as the mascot/greeter at White & Ivory in Leesburg, Virginia. When asked in the morning, “Popcorn, want to go to work?” he enthusiastically runs to the door. He can be found lounging in the back by the heat lamp, perched on the window sill people-watching or hanging out on his couch between the window displays. Every day he waits by the door for the FedEx man and his pack of Siberian Husky friends who walk by twice a day. Customers visit because they read about him in the store’s online reviews. He greets them with a friendly bark. He dons his “suit & tie” outfit for events and trunk show days.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Jules of Decatur City Jewelers

Jules website

Introducing Jules. Jules was rescued by Brett Weiler of Decatur City Jewelers in Decatur, Georgia. Brett believes Jules is an American Staffordshire Terrier, which falls under the Pit Bull label. After getting mauled at the shelter Jules required two surgeries. “He was in a pretty sad condition, so I brought him with me to work,” said Brett. “I never really wanted any employees, but he saw it differently.” Jules loves hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the store. His breed gets such a bad rap, Brett lets him do just that so people can see how misunderstood they are. Whenever people ask what kind of dog he is, Brett replies, “A good dog.” Jules has an Instagram account, you can follow him @decaturcityjules and see for yourself.
