Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Benji from Allure Jewelry by Greaton’s

Say hello to the adorable Benji! Benji is a three-year-old Australian Shepherd that works with his human Reggie at Allure Jewelry by Greaton’s in Stillwater, Minnesota. Benji loves saying hi to people  through the windows as they walk by the store and  brings so many new customers through the door, making him an integral member of the sales team. He enjoys getting love and attention from everyone who walks in, especially the small children. Benji started working at Greaton’s 3 years ago when he was only 7 1/2 weeks old.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Gabby who works at Jay Feder Jewelers

Introducing the fabulous Gabby! Gabby is a 4 pound Pomeranian that works at Jay Feder Jewelers in Boca Raton, Florida. She is a mascot, greeter and model extraordinaire. Here she is with some other models at Jay Feder Jewelers grand opening party sporting a $250,000 ruby and diamond necklace. Word is she worked the room and got more attention than the 2-legged models. Keep up the good work Gabby!

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Lily from Ross’s Fine Jewelers

Introducing Lily! Lily lives the hard life of a shop dog at Ross’s Fine Jewelers in Kilmarnock, Virginia. The not quite one-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) brings so much joy to the employees as well as customers, who often pop in just to see her. When she’s not being carried around by her human, store owner Jennifer, she can be found napping in her special play pen or someone’s lap, eating, playing fetch or helping her mom restring pearls.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Yogi from Windsor Jewelry

Say hello to Yogi! Yogi has been joining store-owner Greg Bires and Yogi’s owner Lynn Andalman at Windsor Jewelry in Indianapolis, Indiana for a decade. When the Australian Shepherd/Greyhound/Lab mix, enters the store he is “instantly the king of the showroom floor,” say co-worker Clayton Fleener. The Windsor family absolutely loves animals of all shapes and sizes, but the whole staff is euphoric when customers bring their dogs to the shop. Windsor Jewelry is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Buddy from The Diamond Connection (TDC)

Meet Buddy. Buddy is the newest member of the team at Kenosha, Wisconsin-based The Diamond Connection (TDC). The Havashu puppy began working at TDC earlier this year and has proven to be excellent at greeting guests and keeping them entertained. “He has been a great addition to our family,” said Desireé Louw, AJP, DG. “It is truly a joy to have him in the store.”

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Koda of Ames Silversmithing

Meet Koda. Koda is a 4-year-old Pointing Labrador who loves everyone! He is the beloved pet of Gary and Karen Youngberg, owners of Ames Silversmithing in Ames, Iowa. Working with his humans since he was just a pup, Koda was a bit rambunctious at first but has since settled down to the point “where he isn’t crazy all the time,” says Gary. During his tenure, the lovable Koda has converted some cynophobic (afraid of dogs) customers into dog lovers.

Furry Friends on the Job: Meet Jinx of Sissy’s Log Cabin

Say hello to Jinx the Golden Retriever, the official mascot of Sissy’s Log Cabin with locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock and Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. A fifth location in Conway, Arkansas is currently under construction. Jinx was adopted from Heart of Golden Retrievers and has brought much joy and devotion to the family of Sissy’s owners Bill and Sharri Jones. Jinx adores following Bill faithfully wherever he leads and snuggling with Sharri on cozy nights in. With Jinx and his pal Champ in mind, all Sissy’s locations are pet-friendly. “Furry Friends are always welcome!” says Sharri. The duo travel to all the Sissy’s Log Cabin locations. Clients call ahead to see if the dogs are there and in turn will bring their precious fur babies to visit. It is not unusual to find a dog birthday party happening at a Sissy’s Log Cabin store.
