Hawaii-based Alamea, makers of sealife, tropical and nature jewelry as well as hand crafted wood rings, reported a very successful 2017 JCK Las Vegas Show. Owner Jay Wu attributed this success to their launch of new collections of 14kt larimar, two-tone 14kt and sterling with diamonds and abalone, and several Signature larimar pieces modeled by Miss Alabama USA Baylee Smith.
“The JCK Show was a great barometer, to see how well our creative design team, and collective ideas from our professional territory sales managers, would be received by our retail partners,” said Wu. “We are very pleased with the success retailers are seeing in sell through of our tropical, sea-life, nautical, and nature products. We have numerous ‘land-locked’ stores re-ordering regularly, in such volume that it peaked our interest in seeing exactly how much we could help more land-locked fine jewelry stores by developing more quality, region specific non-tourist items, and offering full branding support.”
Alamea has won 2 JCK Jewelers Choice Design Awards and 4 runner up finalists in two years.
“I would say JCK Vegas 2017 could not have yielded any better results,” added Wu.
