Furry Friends

Furry friends on the job: Pearl - Mosher’s Jewelers

Pets Pearl

This is Pearl.  She goes to work every day at Mosher’s Jewelers in Port Huron, Michigan. Pearl is a Future Leader Dog puppy of Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, Michigan. Emily the owner of Mosher’s is her puppy raiser.  Pearl is the third leader dog puppy to grow up at Mosher’s. The other two are now living and serving as Leader Dogs for the Blind with their new visually impaired client/owners. The customers love watching the puppies grow and everyone is proud of their accomplishments. Pearl was named by Mosher’s staff as she joined them last June and is the color of a golden south sea pearl.

Furry friends on the job: Wally Wiener of Kock’s Jewelry, Inc.

Pets Wally all

Say hello to Wally Wiener. Wally goes to work with Jeri Christianson at Kock’s Jewelry, Inc. in Hutchinson, Minnesota, as he has every day since he came into Jeri’s life. The 3 1/2 year-old debonair dachshund is a real ladies’ man, as he barks at all the men that come into the store. But everyone - including men - loves to pet him! He entertains kids (they say he’s soft as a blanket) while their parents shop. Additional duties include store security, posing for pictures and running out to greet the customers and sending them off with a greeting too.

Furry friends on the job: Yoooo, Adrian! The greeter at The Diamondaire

Pets Adrian both

Yoooo, Adrian! This is Adrian, the greeter at The Diamondaire in Saint Charles, Illinois. Adrian is a rescue pup from the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Heights. Lauren & Billy Metzer took her in about a year and a half ago and she went right to work greeting customers, protecting the store and serving as an in-store nanny. She enjoys the fringe benefits of the job including belly rubs, tacos, tamales and visits from other furry friends. Way to go Adrian! She’s come a long way from the streets of the South Side of Chicago. You can see more pictures of Adrian on her Instagram page @yoooo.adrian

Furry friends on the job: Riley of M Lange Pearl Company

Pets Riley

This is Riley. Riley is an 8 1/2 year-old full-sized male standard poodle. He goes to work daily with pearl dealer Norman Lange at M Lange Pearl Company in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where he serves as the “office manager.” Norman says the suave poodle is especially excited to greet his female customers and the UPS and FedEx drivers. He’s pictured doing what he does when Norman is listening to The Rolling Stones.

Furry friends on the job: Josh - McRae’s Fine Jewelry, Denton, Texas

Pets Josh main

Thanksgiving greetings from Josh the black lab. Josh is the official meeter and greeter at McRae’s Fine Jewelry in Denton, Texas. Owner Chris McRae says Josh entertains all McRae’s customers, young and old. He’s especially fond of the local FedEx deliveryman, perhaps because he brings Josh treats when he visits. You’ve got to love the orange bandana.

Furry friends on the job: Charley - Jewelers unBLOCKed™

Pets Daisy Trigger

Meet Charley. She is a 3 year old, English Crème Golden Retriever and loves to visit Jewelers unBLOCKed™ HQ in New Jersey. Charley normally works in the California office but visited this summer to meet the East Coast team. She is a certified service dog, a rescue herself and loves anything sparkly and shiny making her the perfect mascot for a company in the jewelry business, says Jennifer Galluccio, executive assistant at Jewelers unBLOCKed™. Her message to everyone is simple: “No whining - relax and enjoy a Milkbone with me!”

Furry friends on the job: Daisy and Trigger

Pets Daisy Trigger

Say hello to Daisy (front) and Trigger.  The precious pair of Shelties go to work most every day with their human DeAnne Green at Main Street Jewelers in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  Daisy and Trigger excel at their job as official greeters. Not a customer walks in without these two saying hello and many of the customers come in just to say hi to them.
